heading down to freeport from katy to stay at weekend home. gonna fish the surf and jetties. anyone know where the bite is best at? thinking about anywhere from surfside jetties to sanluis on the galveston side in the surf. any info appreciated. thanx westenders

If u go towards San Luis from freeport turn into the neighborhood at the big flag right before the bridge go to the second to the last road on the right take the right go to the end and park by the walk over bridge. Right there on the beach is a house with a big cement wall or bulk head wade out past it and throw back to the wall and the wall usually is usually holding some fish we have always used soft plastics and live shrimp there !
