Chocolate bayou question.

I am curious if anyone has any experience fishing chocolate bayou right by camp mohawk off of hwy 35.
Im thinking about trying to do some bank fishing there but not sure whats there or if its worth it.

Im planning to try mostly plastics in the Area due to will be between work when I fish there so knowing what type of fish to expect will allow me to figure out what lures to get.

use liver to catch catfish. suppose you could throw a spinner bait for some throw back bass....

Alright thats cool, so is there a good amount of catfish in that area?

If so i might try some zote soap and see how it goes. Main thing is the job has me on a 4 and a half hour split between my hours. So I have to find a way to fish and not get to smelly inbetween.

In the end probably best way to go would be to try it a few times. Seems the closest to work so I wont waste to much gas.
