whens the bite???

well ive been hearing the fish have been heading back into the surf already. normally i would just go out all day till i start catching them but i have a friend in town who wants to go fishing and we have other things to do while he is here so im just trying to find out if the bite has been primarily a afternoon bite or if the morning bite is on and whats been successful for you. thanks in advance guys.

Trout haven't really moved back in the surf yet (or at least not the numbers that i'm used to). But, that's not saying people haven't been catching em either. You may want to wait on the surf for a bit, especially this weekend with the projected winds.

I heard about that stringer as well. seems there was a few large on it as well.
seems early for mosquito island but things could be happening early this year.

I don't think we're gonna git to Rollover pass on Sunday, my partner has backed out already, the weather
forecast don't look so hot, so might hold off till next Sunday, when there is the New Moon, and better weather "I hope".

thanks guys. i was hoping to hit the surf but yeah with the wind like this i think we are are just gonna yak christmas and look for some protected spots from the wind and as well as hit up some back marshes.
