Last couple of times out game warden checked us at the ramp in Galveston, real nice and just wanted to see all fish and one life jacket per person.

I always have everything required and up to date so no problem.

Just remember if you clean your boat out be sure and put everything back in.

Very true. I have never been stopped in west bay.

I stopped one day in front of Dana'a because two wardens in a Whaler were coming straight toward me WOT! They stopped and told me they were just chasing a buoy that had come loose and drifted over on a geotube behind me.

I just remembered, we were checked once at the old KOA dock, after coming in from offshore. The boat owner and another guy got out and hauled arse to the bathroom, and left me and a young local with some "contraband" in the boat! LOL

The game wardens have been known to use Harbor Walk to launch their boats. I've seen them head out of there several times and a onetime turn right back around because it was too foggy for him.

I asked if they wanted to see the registration card but they said no you're fine. I always keep my card and everything up to date, since I can't afford to pay any fines.

Been stopped twice just outside of KOA headin east.They are out there.Nice guy's both times. Reminds me I have to get a copy of the registration card for my wallet.Primer has mine.

I've never seen a warden go up to highland bayou ever. I have fished there all my life and have seen maybe 2 the whole time I've been fishing out there.

They were never on a boat always just in the parking lot at louise's. That has always been strange to me.

With gas prices the way they are I'm surprised the game wardens don't ride bicycles to the ramps and launches.

Got checked out by a real nice warden in Moses Lake Tuesday. First time in 40 years. Hope he checks me out again 40 years from now.
