Chester Moore, knows his flounder. He also puts on a fun event to encourgae angler to release big flounder.

Each month he gives out a replica of the flounder you released over 20", to the angler who released the biggest one ..... Most don't releaize that a 20" flounder is only a 3 yr old fish (flounder live 6yrs), and if you were hunting white tail deer you would let the young buck walk, and wait till next year .....

It is a good article. I caught one a few weeks ago and it spit out a bunch of 1/2"-3/4" shad.

Its a good Idea, Since most sportsmen dont normally target them, At least I dont , I consider a nice keeper fish a bonus on my stringer.

Damn, I didn't know about this... I just kept a 22.5" last week. Going to carry the camera from now on and see if I can't win a replica or a pair of Costas.
