Wading south shoreline

Hey guys quick question here. We are down here til tonight and are looking for places to wadefish this afternoon. Preferably marshes while throwing topwaters. Any suggestions? Already tried snake island cove with only one rat red on top.

Go back in there with a gold Johnson sprite. Find you a red bucktail trailer to slip on that split ring with the treble and go get you a few slots. Might even catch you a flounder or three. Your welcome.

Thanks guys! I went back and caught a few nore rat reds and a 21" trout on topwater, my PB thus far! I also saw about 30-40 rays no joke and got hit by one of them. Thank God i had my ray guards on.

Yes i was doing the "stingray shuffle", but the mud was so thick i pulled my boot out and came down on top of one following my mud trail. I HIGHLY reccommend ray guards.

Theyre a brand called "Crackshot". Bought them at Academy and have a buckle underneath that keeps them from floating up. They look kind of like snake guards. Almost like shin guards for soccer players.

look at everlast ray guards. they have the boot, reef boots (booties), and the guards that wrap around the leg like snake guards. the boots are $125 at academy. you can find the others there also. hope this helps. Lord Bless.

Carryied a fishin buddy out of Butterow bayou near Indian Beach,after he High Stepped his way onto one,They dont have to be big to stick you, maybe 8 inces across&left a wound like an ice pick only with the barb still in. It was a bad day for sure, 3months skin graphs and boat load of money before he could begin to walk on it.Ray Guards coulda prevented it,Dumbazz me still dont have any,Some of us just never learn!!!

I got a buddy that got hit 4 times netting a 20# ray dutring the HAPL Fishing T. He was fishing that evening although he had 4 holes in his leg. Beerr helped the pain-and Vicodin.
