i went down to surfside today to check things out. there was a pile of wood like this every 100 yards from surfside to the pass.dont know why they didnt push it up to the dunes.

the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

And then they go and put all that effort into bringing in X-mas trees, pallets, figures...

Looks for the makings of a mean bonfire though!

Just come fish between the groins in Galveston. You want have to put up with all that garbage and if you don't, can't catch a fish at least you got all the eye candy to try and get you a date.

Rode down the blvd. this morning to check out conditions after a week of getting senior citizens there right to vote back and to my dismay the surf looked like chocolate milk and too rough to even surf. Winds 20+ and sustained. Grabbed me a jumbo jack and a papered skunk and rode to 8 mile for a comedy. Upon arriving at the end of the road I watched an idiot go through five waders in a flatbottom to try to get into sweetwater as the wind was blowing the water out and he got hung up and got a hell of a cussing. Rode to the end of Sportsman and dodged 22 trucks to see 300.00 dollars worth of live shrimp and no fish. Did notice a lot of wet waders but couldn't tell if there lips were blue. No wonder I fish tues.-thurs.
