Hope it's not piling up too bad. I'll have the city front end loaders scrape it up and put it on the truck for the renewable fuels program. That is if us socialist aren't talked into closing down the street, police and fire department, public schools, libraries, etc. etc. etc.

2 weeks ago on Thur/15th and Fri/16th there was sea-weed on the beach at Jamaica Beach, not thick but 2 to 3 inches deep. Then last weekend it way way up on the sand from a very high tide and there was none coming in last Saturday. I thought the same thing when I saw it 2 weeks ago, that it was very early to see it start moving in on the tide. NOTE There were also "hundreds" of small (about 2 inches) Portuguese Man-O-War all in the sea-weed. My wife kept running over them and popping them with the golf cart.

You can still get stung with jelly after they are dead if you contact it...just saying.

you can get the seaweed and put it in your salad. at least that's what they sell at H.E.B. kind of hard trying to cast through all that stuff. even harder if you catch a fish. Lord Bless.

We saw saw the seaweed off the Galveston beach front, did not see any on the gulf side of the north jetty, but did sea a few cabbage heads.
