    im tryin to see how old this 870 wing master i got is how do i date it.


    2 3/4
    full choke
    28 in raised rail barrel with white dot sight at the end
    12 ga

    im assuming late 60's early 70's cause it was my uncles or my grandfathers.

        Started in the 50's. Call the Remington 800 service number, go through the menu till you get to records dept. They will look up your model and when it was made.

          acorrding to that its 1969 cool thanks alot ill call remington to confirm


          any idea of the value or places tog et it aprraised im thinking of seeling it to go on a port mansfield trip.

                ive got no clue my goal is about 600 but i dont wanna fleece anyone i've got no clue of its actual value.


                i wanna go wade fish port Mansfield on the 29th with capt ken Griffith.

                            don't set your goals too high. You could probably sell it for $300 if you find the right buyer. A gun from that era doesn't like the steel loads of today.

                              I have one almost identical given to me by my father for Christmas in 1968. That gun sold new then for around $90.00. In top condition you might be able to get $400.00 or so for it. It will shoot steel loads just fine, no problem. I still hunt occasionally with mine........been chasing birds for 42 years with it.
