....darn hound I have gets me laughing almost every day!
"Mikey" is some kind of mix between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Mom) and I think either a blue tick or a Pit.
Darn good looking dog and is smarter than most I have ever seen. He walks around in the back yard looking for "tree rats", but is always cocking his head like he is listening to something.
I watched him a while back to see what he was up to when he did that head cocking thing. Turns out he does that....starts digging...cocks his head and digs a little more.......
Kept watching and what he was after were grub worms! He digs down almost to where the grub is then takes one paw and takes individual drags on the dirt...then pops the grub up top and eats the thing.

.....darndest thing I have ever seen! Sure wish I could train him to listen for Trout making that thumping noise and then I might have something!!!

I have Cavaliers. You just have to post a pic. That has got to be an interesting looking pup.

OH My, I so love this video. I havent smiled so big in a long time. What cuties. Love the bite my tail moment. So sweet.
