Did any of you fellas take a $100 chance on that majek (sp) boat over by the mixed drink girl by the seminar tent? Ladty said they were gonna give it up after 500 or however many they eventually sold. There were other lesser prizes if you didn't win that bad arse rig. Heck I had already broke into my allowance and walked away feeling lucky but sad.

I went Thursday night, picked up 1500 spool of Fins from Hookset marine, a filet knife from the knife guy, maniac mullets from Baad marine, picked up a few used reels from Thomas, last but not least some broken back Corky's and peanuts from Capt Bruce.

Headed to the Big Lake Mon and Tues to fish with a friend I ran into at the show, getting out with Rik and the Cajun wader Tues,
The show was great as always, but the trip I'm going on because of the show Rocks !!!

I think those Garcia 5000's I picked up from Mike will work just fine!!!

Droppped a nice wad up there today and got everything I was planning to get and a few extras.

All i can say is i broke my new rods cherry in a big way today.Every strike was a hook-up and it was awesome.I'm kickin myself for not having a quality rod sooner.
