I've heard good things about it as well... I fished it with no luck; the fish didn't just surrender like all the hype makes it seem... LMAO Personally I think I like the Devil better but I really have not given it a chance yet... And to be honest I probably wont.We are West End Anglers, a saltwater tribe!

They will sink a little slower in saltwater but most of the water we fished was fresh. The hook is to small and needs to be changed out imo.Mytake on them is that when the water warms up working them faster could be the ticket.Originally posted by Sisco Kid View PostI have a few, plum chart, workers for me, they do Sink Fast, the slow sinks are not that slow.I LIVE IN A SMALL

I have caught a few trout on them, more important, my wife caught a trout on them. She has never used a lure, so I told her to let it rise and fall and showed her a tempo that would work in the depth we were in. It was her 1st artificial catch so I am sure she will be hooked for life. I'm not so sure it is better than any other soft plastic.... I do know it is more expensive.

If you fish with guys who post up a lot of reports then you might already know how things go sometimes...... I have witnessed lure manufacturers dropping of lures (tons of lures) to a coworker in the past who used to post up quite a bit back 6 years ago or so. He was told to post pics up with said lures hanging out of their mouth and they would keep them coming.
If you are dead set that a certain lure will catch them because of posts you read then you will probably fish it with confidence and thus catch fish. Now,that being said, I have drifted next to boats all day and seen them back at the ramp.... they come over to inquire how we did and we modestly reply we stuck a couple.... they tell us how great they did catching a dozen trout and 2 reds on the new bait but lost 8 $7 dollar lures while we chuckle on the drive home at how we released 40+ trout having the same TTK tied on all day and not losing plugs we chunked. The things that have worked for a while didn't stop working all of the sudden.
Not saying the lures wont catch fish.... fish with what you want to. I have stayed away from the lures, and will continue to, because all the "advertisement" pics I have seen have the lure deep in the fish..... I fish 4 days a week and release 99% of what I catch and don't care to be hooking fish like that and having to retain what I intend to release.

Gimme a Corky any day. These MMs sink like a rock and seem to find every oyster shell in the bay. Might be good over sand/mud, but I haven't been wading lately to give them a real workout in those conditions. Like any lure, if it works for you...great. Gimme a Corky any day.Captain, Galveston County Blue Team Fish Killers

I wish I could count how many times I have seen a loser come into my bar and try to get a laugh at others expense to make him self feel better.... He usually ends up waking up and asking us to help him find his tooth (or nerdy *** glasses). I was always told that old=wise but see that isn't true. I mean , if you're going to run your mouth, don't post up pics of yourself with and without glasses, a pic of you in front of your house, a pic of the deck in back of your house, a pic of your boat, where you live, where you go and climb out of your boat, etc. It's not 1945 anymore and not everyone is like me and could care less what you think as I have nothing to prove.... And yes, you were right, it was me posting up all the reports and such with my 8 previous post in 3 years.

If you enjoy losing 60% of the fish you hook up with on them, then this is the lure for you. If you wade over mud and thick shell like most people who chase big trout in the winter then then just get a fatboy. The MM has its application in a boat drifting deeper water with no structure on the bottom or as I saw on here in the warmer months where you can work it faster. Tidal Surge has done a good job marketing being I hear Mickey talking about them on the fishing show every thurs-sunday, and every shoe maker that listens or reads jewcool and sees photos or whatever is going to buy them. I remember when they first came out they were like $6, now they are already almost up to $8 in less than a year that I got my hands on one. Feed the frenzy, but I know the few I own do not have a home in my boxes I take wading with me.
