  • Uh Oh, Texas Tech's Tuberville in trouble!!

    From today's Chron:

Texas Tech coach Tommy Tuberville is being accused of defrauding investors out of more $1.7 million in Alabama following his tenure at Auburn.

A federal lawsuit filed Friday in Montgomery, Ala., names Tuberville, John David Stroud and eight investment entities as defendants, claiming the two men "employed devices, schemes, and artifices to defraud" seven plaintiffs from Arkansas, Alabama and Tennessee.

The suit says Tuberville and Stroud misappropriated assets, and falsified client statements and fund performance reports as they "unjustly enriched themselves" at the expense of the investors.

Tuberville, who spent two seasons away from coaching after leaving Auburn in 2008, did not immediately return a message left with Texas Tech seeking comment.

Looks like Mike Leach shoulda never been fired IMO. TTUWader/ALEX: Your take on this?

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. I miss Leach. He was great for the program and brought some color to the High Plains. I guess he is enjoying the last laugh.

Mike Leach was the man. It was awesome going to Tech while he was there. With the talent he got, he made some noise. Not quite sure many coaches could do what he did at tech, looks like we are finding that the hard way with tommy.

Maybe this Forum Galveston340???-It's not a sports deal since good ol' Tommy and Mr. Stroud formed a Capital Management company (TSCM) and apparently decided that the Allen Stanford Lifestyle looked pretty good, while forgetting that Stanford's going to the Big House for free room and board and will wonder why he isn't having Eggs Benedict with a Latte served for breakfast instead of cold, powdered scrambled eggs and a fruit drink.
