  • Who has fished this place?

I just crossed over the san jacinto river on I 10. I saw someone fishing in the channel right there. I was just wondering if it holds fish and maybe what species right there.

It holds PCB Fish, Benzene Fish and Mercury Crabs. Severely polluted-next to a superfund site that is really bad. You'd be better off fishing in your toity-but if ya hook an Obama in your toity, don't believe its lies and please flush it immediately-Obamas are like carp-ya wrap em real tite in foil after surrounding it with horse droppings, cook 1 hour at 350 in oven, carefully unwrap, throw out carp and eat the horse sheeet, it tastes better than a carp. An obama fish is a bottom feeding, scum-sucking fish that preys on ignorance and stupidity-easy to catch, but the slime will never come off your hands and you'll smell like Michelle Obama's undergarments.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. You don't think those same fish travel to Trinity, East and West G-bays? I bet they do!

I actually fish upper Galveston quite a bit. I can leave my house (Beltway 8 and 290) and be on the water in 30 minutes. I know that sounds crazy for folks living in Galveston but it works out great for me living in Houston.

There are no fish around there though. No need for anyone to try fishing the area. It's polluted after all.

3 Eyes-like the fish on The Simpsons. There is a no fish area around there-believe it is north of I-10 at San jac River. definitely fish eating advisories are in place (which are also in place for Galveston Bay in case ya dint know that). pregnant wimmens, kids and others are spota limit fish consumption of trout and some other fishes-can't remember - got Dain Bramaged from eating PCB fishes).

You don't think they are going to put signs up everywhere like the potlickers signs, do ya.
LMAO. And they talk about Diversonary canal. I know fish migrate and speckled trout are always on the move. Im scared to take fish around any of the nasty *** chemical plants and refineries. Christmas is the most pristine bay around these parts and Chocolate is as bad as West bay ever thought of being. Don't tell me those plants I built in the 70's don't let **** out the pipes.

The old salts say the water is cleaner than when they fished it .I have never seen an obituary say this person ate fish from our bays.

Yeah the old salts washed their tools and hands in benzene and other unknown cancer causing agents in their time. Don't see that fact in the obituarys either.

I fish up there from October thru mid Feb. and have a blast catching & releasing. Great winter spot to fish and not burn much fuel plus have C&R'd some nice fish over the past few years.
