Explorer 21, i had a buddy that would throw Tops for 5 to 10 minutes and give up if he didnt get a bite, and i would still throw for an hour or 2 before I put them away. We got into the trout really really thick in the surf 2 years ago all on Tops and he has been hooked since. So like AP said just be patient and it will pay off before you know it, then you wont want to put them down!

Thanks for the information. I think the most confusing part for me is figuring out which one to throw and I know it depends on the conditions, but so many of you have your favorites, so I guess I will just try the ones I have in the bag and hope for the best.Originally posted by CarolinaSkiffin View PostExplorer 21, i had a buddy that would throw Tops for 5 to 10 minutes and give up if he didnt get a bite, and i would still throw for an hour or 2 before I put them away. BTW, I have been taking AP's advice regarding darker colors when it is cloudy or the sun still have not come up and the more flashy colors during the sunny time of the day.
