I've been catching fish for a long time on lures and colors that have been around a long time. I, personally have no secrets to lures, colors, or spots I fish. As has been said before I can tell you where I caught fish and what lure and color, you still have to catch them. They don't belong to me. As far as gulp, everyone tells me it's cheating so being the purist I am I've done right by leaving it at the tackle shop.

What do you mean you don't throw corky's in shallow water? Pretty much where it's designed to catch fish at. Sure you can modify it to fish deeper water, but that's what soft plastics are for. Also you can catch quality fish all year round on them. I love how they go on sale in summer time due to the fact that no one buys/uses them.

Good on ya you don't use bait soaked in that cheatin' Gulp Teriyaki Bang Sauce.
To make life interesting, I might only take two lures in addition to what I got tied on. This is very manly and displays corn-fid-ants. Confidence, baby.
Yeah, I like to go where folks say "thar ain't no fish" just to prove 'em wrong!

I rarely ever throw Corkies at all, come to think of it ... seems more like the fad up yonder by Houston. I guess we fish more skinny water down by the Lower Laguna Madre ... some are used over deeper holes and the edges of deeper channels. Just not as popular down these parts.
