for the radio you can get two outdoor speakers in the case with a bracket, like the ones on ski boats, mount your radio in a dry box with quick connects for the speakers and power wires so you can take it out when at home , i have used a minn kota fresh water trolling motor 30 # thrust in saltwater a bunch of times just put it n a bucket with fresh water when you get home run it for a bit and you shouldnt have any problems , been doing that for about six years

I thought about using some outdoor speakers that are self enclosing in a box, just wasn't sure what the heck I'd mount them to. The side of a bench? Top of a bench?Originally posted by Reef Drifter View Postfor the radio you can get two outdoor speakers in the case with a bracket, like the ones on ski boats, mount your radio in a dry box with quick connects for the speakers and power wires so you can take it out when at home , i have used a minn kota fresh water trolling motor 30 # thrust in saltwater a bunch of times just put it n a bucket with fresh water when you get home run it for a bit and you shouldnt have any problems , been doing that for about six years
Thanks for the info on the TM. I didn't want to drop money on a new minn kota freshwater TM and have it junk out after the first few trips.
