I went out to a lake to train for a kayak race yesterday and when I got to my pull out a nutria was standing on the bank, this little guy was not afraid of nothing. I pulled my boat out, walked back to the car grabbed my camera and walked up to him and took his picture. It was like he was posing for me.

In Abbeville LA at the Walmart, they had a pet one named "Norman". Some lady freaked when she saw it, ran over her toe with her cart and is suing Walmart for pain, injuries and "lack of consortium" (sex). This happened in 2008 or 2009-trial is scheduled for this July. Nutria are not mean scary animals-another case for a scumbag attorney. You'd think that anyone from Abbeville knows what a nutria is and that they are "swamp chicken" and trapped for fur-what a bunch of crapola-another useless suit.

Nutria,are vegetarians things are real tameable and dont seem to hurt anything When I was about 12 I
shot one while on expedition, thought Id killed the bigest Rat in the the world,only later realized it worn no rat, we went hungry that night not knowing we could eat it. Those were the days!

I was at Lake Nassau in the Nassau Bay subdivision it's a nice 3 foot deep pond really that is perfect for training in no motor boat allowed.
