I'm going to try and beat the weatherman at his own game tomorrow, last Sunday there was a 70 % rain of rain and I never saw a drop. Plan on hitting west bay.

They've really been sucking it up lately. When I looked on Tuesday, they had winds of 8-10 on Friday and 4-6 on Saturday. Now it's 23mph on Friday and 18 on Saturday. Not that it matters. I think I might be laid up with a sinus infection.

I hope you are right. Don't want to see the rain. But stay safe and good luck.

Where are those wind reports coming from ? Weatherundergound has it a 6mph in morning increasing to 11 mph throughout the day.

Oh well whatever the conditions are I'll be out on the water regardless.

Thanks for the info, hope you get well soon.

You'll need Raingear, lots of warm clothes and a case of beer and a large umbrella-that way you can sit in your boat under the umbrella and drink beer while staying somewhat dry and warm.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. I never took my rain gear off, the rain was so bad at times I was wishing for fog. My eyes and face are hurting from the rain drops at 20 mph. The first are I went to there was a boat and waders so I moved on rather than move in on them. Was headed to towards Mecom's and Greens but the rain had the visibility to about 50 yards so I decided to head back towards the ramp.

On the way to the ramp I was thinking to hell with this I'm already out here and was determined at that point not to end up with a skunk. While heading to the next area I ran through a pretty bad squall the rain was so bad it was filling the boat up since with water since my boat won't self bail and there were seas 3-5' north of the causeway and that when I decided to put on my life jacket.

Fished an area for about 2 hours and ended up with 2 trout to 20" and missed a fish. I had to hang it up because my back and kidneys were killing me and it appears I have another kidney stone making it's way out. Pain, Pain Pain for those who have never have passed a kidney stone.

All in all it was still a great time.
