Got out today.

Sawdust and I got out in the D-ditch today for a short while. Missed a few. fair bite. Sawdust hooked a good one I'm guessing 20+. Trout came up on top shortly after hook-up and did that washing machine move and halfway to the boat was gone. Few cast later I put a 20" in the boat by the skin of his lip and a good netter. Gave mine to the nice gentleman fishing at the dock. One fish beats the skunk and I'm not greedy but it takes two to feed me and Cuddles.

Hey Father in Law. So you had some bites today. How was the weather? Catch them on our favorite red and white?

Had three or four flounder on but you know how they act when you don't give them that little extra time. Weather was pretty nice, a little foggy but no problem and yes threw some pumpkin/chartreuse but my fish eat strawberries. James caught his on hot pink grub curly tail. Holler when you get back from coaching clinics and sending another kid to college.

Yes, did you read the Galveston Daily News? I got some Pub in the paper as our head coach really gave me the credit, which was very nice and deserving. We had 7 sign scholarships and home to have about 4 to 5 more within about 3 weeks as well. I work hard at what I do and Love It! I am ready to get out and get some fish!

Looks like Ball High made a mistake in their head coach selection? Think they might've won a game or two all season. Maybe they'll get it together and we can fish a little more often.
