Fishing report

Got out this a.m. with my son-in-law. No school today and he wanted to fish. Launched in the Diversionary and hit four or five spots without a bite. Wind was pumping hard and even fishing the leeward side caused the line bagging out was hard to stay in touch with my Hogie. Ran out to West Bay and fished the ICW behind Green's spoil. no bite. I'm ready to head in at noon but Coach Pete wants to grind so back in the canal and smelling the skunk. I pick up a 15" flounder at about two p.m. and he got a 15" red. Both released. On the way home I got stopped a mile from the house and discovered I had lost my license plate off my boat trailer and got a ticket. I guess I drug it off at the ramp? Anybody else go or was I the lucky one?

I think that was the hardest wind out of the south in January, I can ever remember.

Flatoutfishin' caught a 19inch sheepie off my dock today. A new Blockade Runners record! I didn't even pick up a rod all weekend.
