According to all the suppilers/distributors Ive talked to ALL gas has ethanol. There may be some people claim they sell ethanol free but again...according to ALL the distributors Ive talked to they are full of sheet and have jsut added a treatment to it like West End does. they have the additive that Valvetex puts in it, hence thats why they have to fly those Valvetex Marine Gas flags up there.Comment

I think most of that Obama-Gas is rack blended these days, so virtually all of it in the Houston area with have the commie reformulated stuff ... you have to go darn near to Corpus to get Real American Gas. Or what's left of it because even that goes sour in a heartbeat 'cause they're in a "Near-Commie Zone" because sometimes they get high Blozone numbers from Al Gore or sum'fin. Down here by old Mexico, we get the straight skinny at our marinas in Port Isabel, enuff sulfur in it to kill the skeeters and make your engine hum and fart like its supposed to. No ethy-nol except for what we buy by the case or the fifth!

Can't avoid the ethanol down here on the upper Gulf Coast so use a good gas treatment that also treats ethanol every time you put gas in your tank. I use Startron for ethanol gas and have had, so far, very good results. I put it in an older boat I had a few years ago (2 stroke) that was running a little rough and it perked right up and ran great. Using it now with my newer 4-stroke. Another one I see a lot out there is BioBorET. I have not used that one because I like the Startron so much. I get it at West Marine and perhaps a lot of other marine supply houses stock it as well. The key is consistency so add it every time you add gas no exceptions. May be other brands out there that people have faith in...Comment
