  • Rifle Stock

I have a Winchester .243, model 100 that Ive had since I was in the 6th grade (a long time ago). It has a walnut stock that cracked and Ive tried to glue it many times and need to buy a replacement.

Ive looked around on the internet, but does anybody know of something local or nearby where I could buy one? I want to try to get as close to the original that I can.

Dammm...i just realized that rifles over 40 years old.

Try calling Winchester. I called Remington - had a cracked forestock on my Dad's Model 11-48 12 ga. I told them my dad had died and I was trying to fix his old gun-the guy was real nice, looked around and found the last one in stock-$35 and he finished it for me. That gun was purchased in 1956-this was about 6 years ago.

I was amazed at how nice the guy was-wrote him a Thank You Letter-he deserved it.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

I also had the same thing happen to my Remington Rifle-the stock cracked-glued it and kept getting worse-I bought a synthetic stock for about $80-fit perfectly and don't have to worry about scratches or cracking it anymore.
