Does anybody know if there was some damage due to high winds or flooding on the west end? Caz mentioned a tornado near Jamicia, did it touch down?

People just do not care or pay attention anymore.
Its not that they dont care, they;re just eat up with the DA....

I rode it out on Jolly Roger and I don't think the tornado touched but I do know I have one of the higher lots in JB and I had water over the bulk head and 1 1/2 feet up the grass from the concrete of the bulkhead. Also the ditches in front of the house were full to the brim. These are huge ditches with a run off durectly into the ditch between the street and wildlife preserve, which looked like a lake and just one body of water from street to across the preserve. Lots and lots of water... Sunday I took the boat our for a ride in the chop to see how it would do but I didn't bring a fishing rod cause the water was prety foull still. I told my wife that felt like a strong tropical depression came through. She rode smoooooooth

Race1, thanks for the report. I am wondering how we faired in Terramar Beach. We don't have to much to worry about unless water got in the garage and took out the beer fridge!

Water went twice over my bulkhead Saturday and I haven't had water go over it (other than Ike) since 2005 when rebuilt. Jamaica Cove Road was underwater and up my driveway about 1/3 up (I'm behind "split" of main canal). The corner bend was over 1' deep (nephew came over in 4 wheeler and he said it was a foot deep plus). Most docks were under by 6-10" of water. Lots of decking was floating in the canals from folks' that aint fixed up their places yet, so watch out for debris-was a 6'x6' piece of fence floating down canal. My brother faces Jolly Roger and we went there to play poker/dinner saturday night and GISP looked like the bay-water didn't go over his bulkhead, but all his neighbor's were pretty much under.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Robalo,
I had water up on the back side that high on a couple of occasions. I can't hink of the last time water came over either. It didn't stay over long, but it got there!

As for the front part that faces GISP the water never went over the ditch but the ditch got even with the road twice. My house is the one with two drive ways and the date palm between them, almost to where the ditch opens up to the water.

                      Joe
