New Rod

Just finished this one up a couple days ago. Used a Gloomis sj782 mahogany blank. Didn't do anything too fancy, just wanted a simple stick to throw big baits. Got to give a shout out to the guys at FTU, Jerry, Allen, Terry and Joey for helping me out.

FTU offers workshops. They're pretty cheap and you wind up making your first rod. Contact Terry and he'll get you set up.

yep, they offer rod building classes. I think they are in the 40 dollar range.

If you don't have time to take the class, you can still get your components up there and they can help point you in the right direction.
