sOO i got my new reel i went with another lews tournament speed spool for 151 dollars out the door.... on a side a note lews service department is pretty epic when i got the new one i noticed some differences and called them apparently the orignal material for the drag clicker and the pinion control were defective and they are sending me all the parts for free for my older one plus some extra stuff i needed soo gg in my book.75% Saltwater 5% led 20 % soft plastic 99% Alcohol 500% Fish stories = the make up of an angler.Comment

I have an old Lews Speed Spool BB1NG-wasn't bad except it didn't like the saltwater. I believe Browning bought out Lews many years ago-like 15-20 years ago??? zebco bought them and made it low quality but then a few years back like DN outdoors owned by a personal friend of lew childres bought the company and there stuff is killer Ive dropped my reel in the surf like 4 times and cleaned it no problems with saltwater.75% Saltwater 5% led 20 % soft plastic 99% Alcohol 500% Fish stories = the make up of an angler.Comment
