Man that's some history there ... I think you're better off fishing the West End because some day the whole upper Houston Ship Channel area north of Morgan's Point is one big toxic landfill.

Interesting fact: the ship owners love taking their ships way up the Channel because the freshwater and toxics cleans the hull of all the marine growth.

On the other side of the Fred Hartman from where the old rigs were is a place called Black Duck bay, it is within the Exxon Refinery property and you can guess how it got its name. Its cleaned up now just don't go digging there.

                  Like the video Williep.

Goose Creek is just another example why we speak English today and not German.

Think Obama has a clue about that historical fact?

I dunno about catching them in Tabb's, but unfortunately I am a champion gafftop feecher. This always happens when fishing off the Freeport Jetties. The oversize redfish bite was slow but I was catching a bucket of slime every 5 minutes! Brother Matt said a [banned word] every time and was so mean 'cause he was captain - made me release them varmints over the side and no slime in the bote! I'm talking fatties, thought I had a monster redfish they pulled so hard. Funny to see them potlickers come real close and start dropping. My rod would go off, Matt would cuss, and another slimer hits the water as I grab another beer.

On a different trip I hung a nice gaffer so I says "why not keep him?" To tell the truth, it wasn't half bad fried. If you eat rough fish like king mackerel, black drum, puffers, sandies, jetty tuna, and puffers, it's eatin' like a prince!

Swells, how is black drum a rough fish? It's exactly like redfish.

Because they are big, ugly, get lots of worms, and taste like pooh?

                          Just kidding, Coach.

But honestly, I don't eat them or the red drum. They're sporty enough, just not my favorite table fare.

Oddly enough, the Mangrove or Gray Snapper, which isn't even regulated as a game fish, is very good eating by comparison.

Rough fish? Maybe but I like 'em!

Neat Vid MP. back in the old days, the regs weren't in place as to discharge and disposal-they are now. Black Duck bay is named for the Black Duck or mottled duck-not because of petro spills.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

Yes we have several black looking ducks down here by Mexico and the Mottled is a currently arriving, not sure about the Black. Pretty birds. The one that'll freak you out if the Black Bellied Whistling Duck, which is very LOUD.
