Well from what I understood with the deferral I still had to be with an adult. I'm scheduled to do the field course Friday and I already finished the online. I took a class in school freshman year that gave me one but the teacher never sent it in and my temp expired.

I took it with my daughter and actually learned a few things. Anybody interested in hunting in other states should take it since it is required in most western states anyway.
