Went out today and caught four flounder. I have not caught many before, but when I was cleaning one of them I noticed, small black objects in the flesh. These were located just under the skin. This is the first time I have seen this in Flounder. Anyone know what the the black objects are? I cut them out, but should keep the flounder?

I know what you are talking about. Somewhat common... most flounder don't have them but a lot do.
They are about the size and shape of a grain of rice. Not long and spermy looking like a trout worm, but they are in the flesh of the fillet too.
Pretty easy to get out since they are short, just rub them off. Doesn't harm the taste and I'm sure they won't hurt you. But then again, I will eat anything

I did not take pictures, but Milkjug describe them to a tee. I thought that would be the case. Thanks for the info.
Any thought and info of the specled trout consumption advisory would be appreciated. I see from the post, most people are enjoying them as a meal.

my old biology prof said parasites are tasty-he started P.A.T.E. = Parasites Are Tasty Eats. Just don't eat raw frog meat."Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
