the lake

fished clear lake this morning and had thirteen trout and a rojo and an axxhole to contend with. which is usually expected when you fish that jungle. I've seen my share of idiots but this tops them all. working birds and the guy and his buddy come in and bust up a group and never shuts his big motor off. so me being the guy that loves giving advise does just that. then he tells me that his starter is out and can't turn the big motor off. i had to go to the house on that note. he's someone elses problem now. good love the fearless fishermen. no thanks i have plenty of tissues.

Yep better get used to it!!! Unless it's easy access I personally just avoid the birds altogether and forgo the whole contending with people for dinks thing. They can have em. You can sometimes catch some solid fish under the birds but lately it's been 2 to 3 sand trout for every 15-16" speck. It's still a lot of fun though at least you got to make it out!!!

Over time I've learned to expect people to boat right through my areas so when they do it doesn't really bother or surprise me that much. It's a bigger surprise when people slow down so when they do I give them the big thumbs up lol.

i find it hard to believe you were fishing the birds anyway... lol im pretty sure it was you who told me there is nothin under them birds but gaftops and sandies... lol at least you were on the water... im stuck in my office! uggghhh

Uber and Sneeky: Maybe it was Obama and he was trying for some Gafftop so Michelle would suck start his motor-it is National greasy food day!! It don't get much greazier than Obama and his booteaful wife, Oprah, err, Michelle. Michelle is coming here BTW-she'll be eating at some River Oaks house for a fundraiser to help support the Occupy Whitehouse Movement (or is it a bowel movement in the Whitehouse-stinks either way).
