                      That's a bluefish. We don't get big ones like they do on the east coast. You'll see them through the winter.

                              IMO Bluefish all the way. They get as big as about 8-10 lbs. here in the Gulf. They will take your finger off. They will chop a trout in half. Contrary to what Yankees say, I do not think they are good to eat. Their meat is similar to that of mackerel. Their teeth are recessed a bit so you would not see them well without pulling down their gums.
