Go-to is pumpkin/char. Works for me in murky and clear water. But I also like pearl/chartreuse in clear water. Black magic TTF are good in the fall and winter as well as limetruese and margarita. Occasionly I also throw red shad or good ole red/white.
It's funny how I have 900 colors in my bag and I usually don't throw more than 3-4 per trip.XA
GOD BLESS AND GIG'EM!
I hope I catch a 10 lb trout before I catch a flesh eating bacteria.

I'm the same way XtremeAngler.... I have every color Bass Assassin makes but always end up using the same 5 or 6 colors over and over. Its all about the confidence!!!!!!

I totally agree. Confidence is the biggest issue. If I buy a new color, I have a hard time slipping it on because I'll feel almost like I'm wasting my time with it when I could be throwing a color that consistently produces. But thats all a part of experimentingOriginally posted by aqua pimp View PostI'm the same way XtremeAngler.... I'm kind of different. I buy a new color for one of two reasons, 1-I've heard that is what they are hitting or 2-I know it would be a great color or color combo. I will use that new color hard the first and maybe the second time out, and if it don't pan out then it sits in the box a long time before it gets another try. On the other hand, if it catches fish then I'll use it till a day comes it don't catch them and I'll go back to a standby. I think sometimes the fish get too use to seeing the same color day in and day out and a new color just might be the ticket.Originally posted by XtremeAngler View PostI totally agree.
