Well I'm sure everyone knows it was windy. Everyone was looking for protected shoreline. New Bayou and Chocolate above 2004 was crowded but courteous. I took my wife on her 1st ever saltwater fishing trip (inshore) and got a Texas slam all keepers Live shrimp from Lutes was lively all day and I returned 3 to their tanks. Great looking bait Cody! I caught several flounder, a couple of undersized reds, couple dink trout and couple of sandies all on chartruse gulps. We kept 4 flounder, 1 Red, 1 Speck (and a couple of sandies to pan fry tonight)
Got home and did the whole cleaning all equipment thing, then it was time to clean fish.....
1st time ever I cut myself while cleaning fish, knowing I haven't had a tetnus shot in decades, I went to Clinic and got 6 shots (1 in arm, 2 in *** and 3 for numbing), 3 stitches, 2 scripts, worst part is I can't have a beer for 7 days while on antibiotics So it was a good and not so good day.

      Congrats?

Great job on getting the wife her slam and good call on getting the doc to fix you up.

Sorry about the cut - I know that hurts. Smart thing to get squared away on shots, you never know when that will come in handy. Most of all, good job on taking the family fishing and hitting 'em.

              Nice catch.

I set my hook like I am fishing for tuna even if I am fishing for trout. Call me tuna Joe!

Chain mail is good protection against slashes, but not stabs from a hook :P
