Ripped off at FTU today!!!!

Well it happened again

Went to FTU at noon today. I was in there about 10 minutes buying a few flies. Came out and some one had broke into my truck and stole my GPS, and some meds I had just picked up. The GPS mount was on the windshield, and the unit was in the side pocket of the door, with my meds.Glove compartment door was open,and papers scattered on the floor. Thief left the power cord in the door panel ,it was under the unit. I went inside and told the blond cashier about it,and she said she was sorry,but could not do anything about it. I said that as big as they were, they should at least have a camera looking over the parking lot. Last time I will ever shop there. I have been doing business with them since they were in Dickenson at 45 and 517. Never again.

I work right down the road from there. It happens in our employee parking lot. Just the other day, two thugs were trying to enter the employee parking lot as I was leaving for lunch and I was able to block the entrance. We had a brief stare-down between us and then they hauled azz.

Don't take it out on FTU because that area of town is going to the crapper. Save your energy for when your "Green Rod" brakes or you get poor service from the rod and reel repair shop.

I shop there all the time and every time the girlfriend goes with i tell her to take her purse in (which is a bottomless pit) so i put my GPS, spare reels in the truck ect in it. Screw the truck they can have it! Just not my reels, ill have to shoot someone.

This is a freakin' epidemic there. Not a month goes by without a story from their parking lot. They need to put a camera out, PERIOD! It's just plain negligent that they can't at least surveil their own property. These people need to be caught and hung up by their Buster Browns.

SaltGrass on 45 in Webster is where they got me. Manager at that time came out and made a huge scene when the cops were there stating they'd cover it...blah...blah...blah! Even asked for my phone number like she was real concerned, in front of a fairly crowded parking lot...Course, I never heard a word from them!

Last time I was in there(a month ago) they hit a guy...he had the same gripe...camera? Where's the camera?

Seriously, as much as Joe makes and has made off local fishermen, he can afford a security guard or at least a patrol in the lot. Maybe all those businesses around that lot should pool their money for some security.....
