where the hell did all these skeeters come from,it hasnt rained!
the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

Since all the lakes & ponds have dried up, they are moving to the coast for the bay water.
    Today is a new day!!

Per Galv Daily News -recent high tides caused them to hatch. There is certain breed of marsh mosquitoes that breed in brackish water in marshes flooded by high tides and those are what are biting you.

Said are particularly bad in Hitchcock and surrounding areas. City is spraying. Will die of in a few days.

I figured the rain the actually made my driveway wet for almost 30 minutes caused the outbreak-certainly was no "standing" water anywhere-makes sense it was the high tides. the only positive thing about the drought-fewer skeeters.
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. I went down to Liverpool last night and was attacked. I even swallowed one while talking on the phone.

have any of you used those 1/4 acre mosquito machines? I havent, but was wondering if they were worth the investment. Hey now, we had what... 1/6th of an inch of rain 7 or 10 days ago. it woke those b-tards up. Not liking that at all.

Out here at Blockade Runners now. Skeeters are present, but not bad at all. A little Off and they're leavin' me alone. I'm posting this from the front porch right now. Moderate breeze is probably keeping them down. Since I got here about an hour after sunset I got 4 bites and then relented and put on the Off. Nothing since. So it ain't bad at all.
