    "Lucky 13" Redfish

    This is true and I scanned it from the Abbeville Meridional Newspaper from the 9/8/2011 edition from Abbeville Louisiana.

    Christian Hebert caught a 41" Redfish near where Rollover Canal (not Rollover Pass) meets the gulf over in Vermilion Parish (probably kin of Coachlaw-ha ha!!). The spot on the tail makes almost a perfect number "13". He's getting it mounted. Darn cool. The paper says the other side was a "12" but was not nearly as distinct as the "13".

    I guess next year he'll catch a "Lucky 7"!!!

    Pretty cool-almost surprised he didn't just make a courtbuillion out of it!!

                    I know it looks shopped, but highly doubt it-the Abbeville Meridional aint the "Seabreeze News". If it was the Seabreeze News-it is BS.

                      I call fake upon futher inspection.Th scales looked removed in a complete circle to allow for a sharpie to write the #13.

                          I only be the Messenger. Not sure why some cajun would make this up-it's also on Louisiana Sportsman, he posted the Taxidermist's name and number-doubt the Taxidermist in Lafayette would want to lie about it, but then again, where do Jackelopes come from!!!

                          Some strange chit happens in and around Abbeville (but I do recommend Dupuy's in downtown Abbeville for eats-yummy good) and that is where the second filming of the movie "The Blob" took place. A little trivia for today.
