This is edited from the video that we got while trolling the reef yesterday afternoon. We are trolling in water about 20 feet deep with reef that rises to within a couple of feet of the surface. Using medium-weight spinning tackle and soft plastic swim baits.
We wound up with three butterfish (coney - small grouper) and a yellowtail. Not a huge catch, but was fun and was plenty for dinner last night.
The video ends with a run back to our house. 30 HP on an 11 foot whaler is quite a ride.
