Any cold water mountain stream where you can chunk a silver spoon in a calm part of a river and see a 5# trout magically appear from behind a rock or from under a ledge chase your spoon and knock the crap out of it. Then take off down river so you are fighting the current and the fish. All while watching out for moose and making sure a bear doesn't decide your stringer is his!

        Bayou Cook, La.
From 1970-1997, true heaven on Earth existed on the banks of Bayou Cook. "Hey Dad, Thanks for buying the Camp."

West Galveston Bay....followed closely by numerous tanks, ponds, creeks and sloughs in and around my old stompin grounds in Shelby County Texas where i grew up, then POC. If I'm fishing anywhere, I'm happy.

I am happy anywhere I am fishing, but Islamorada, Florida is a very special place.

Anywhere in the GOM the bluer the water the better. The marine life the GOM supports is amazing, seeing it first hand is even better. Last year i had no idea you could catch lobster with your hands out of surfside. here are some pics you dont see every day.
