Then what would we do without TV? Fish?

I haven't had cable/satellite in about 18 months. I have Hulu and Netflix for the daughter, but I rarely watch it. The only time my TV has been turned on lately was to watch "Murder by Death". I love that movie.

JT couldn't live without the Faux Sex channels (me neither).
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. I will have one around for watching movies, but pretty much never watch TV. I like the occasional nature documentary, but I don't regularly watch any program.

I never had cable when I was a kid, and will probably deprive my children of that privelage too

We don't have television at our place on Anegada. We definitely don't miss it.

I've done it. Cut the cord last year sometime and it feels great. I spend more time getting things done, exercising and exploring new hobbies than I used to. I use netflix to satisfy my itch for movies and a few TV shows, but the amount of time spent on my couch has greatly diminished.

The only thing I miss is football. But that's what bars/friend's houses are for.
