Okay, I've had my eye on one of these reels since they came out, BAD.
Never pulled the trigger, well new girlfriend asked me about it roughly a month ago. Package in the mail yesterday. Core 51MG7!!!! What a great woman. Nice to be spoiled I tell ya!
Top it off with a 3rd place flounder in a tournament that earned me a Billy Stix Custom Rod, micro guide, spiral wrapped.
I figure it's a match made in heaven. I was right! total weight, 9.4 oz!!!! Best dam set up I've ever fished with, hands down. Can out cast every other set up I have with a lighter bait, will darn near NO effort. Sickly smooth, balanced and was an outright joy. Many fish will meet their end to this one!
Took girlfriend out today, hit west bay and got the sucker blooded. 3 nice flounder and two reds, 21 and rat.
Hot as Hades, but boy oh boy did it feel good to be back on the water.
