  • Flounder Food Porn

    Decided to have some flounder last night for supper. Fillet's with a shrimp/crab meat stuffing between them, brushed with butter and seasoned with a little Tony's, basil and garlic. Baked and layed on a bed of fettuccine and then covered with a alfredo/shrimp sauce and a green salad just for show.

                    Mmmm, looking good there, even got your obligatory rabbit food!

                    My mama used to make a special dish out of those barely over the limit flounder, smalls, and roll them up like a burrito with a crab stuffing and secret stuff inside. Sour cream and spices? Got me ... roll it up and stick a toothpick in the thing ... hit that with some lemon or lime, dust with breadcrumbs and paprika, and oven her on up at 325. They're done when the toothpick just comes out clean, maybe 25 minutes.

                        Last night was stuffed flounder and stuffing topped redfish on the half shell.Not enough for tonight though.The rolled up thing sounds good too.
