Academy in Lake Jackson blows.
They never have anything and the knuckleheads working there are zero help.
Actually had one tell me "we have no idea when anything is coming in. All we know is what we get off the truck every day".
Another pet peeve of mine: I use 72qt Igloo Marine ice chests because that is what the cleats on my boat deck are sized for.
I go to Academy to get a new ice chest right? Wrong.
They sell a 64qt Marine. They sell a 94qt Marine. They sell top top cushion for a 72qt. But do they sell a 72qt Marine? Nope.

I had a similiar experience at the store on 59 at Kirby. No offshore section at all. I was looking for some single strand wire, none to be had. I understand they probably don't sell alot of $15 rapalas, but no terminal tackle either? I guess shelf space is better allocated to clothes, shoes and seasonal items. It's quickly becoming........Walmart!

Yeah, they have push pole feet, but no push poles. I ask them and they say the same thing. They don't have any control over ordering and don't know what's coming in until it arrives.

OMG, Academy was actually stocked with super spook juniors in the colors I wanted when I went today.
