  • Thinking of giving up us citizenship and leaving

Our stoopeed Gummint has again shown it's rear.

Between the Supreme Idiot known as Obama and his gang of George Orwell's Animal Farm Pigs known as Congress, the US is in a major decline and likely will NEVER recover thanks to unfettered spending of our tax monies.

Now they are GIVING $2.5 Million to Galveston Businesses, (3 years after Ike), "loans" up to $50,000 for each business. The so-called "Loans" are free and without recourse to the business. If the business does not meet the criteria during one year after receiving the "Loan", the City of Galveston is responsible for it-not the business-makes no sense and the loans are even are going to an INSURANCE COMPANY. Of all businesses-WTH would an insurance company need "bail out" monies? They of all businesses know the exact coverage they needed.

Please read the article in today's Galveston Daily News: http://galvestondailynews.com/story/249678

I plan to boycott ALL these businesses, including Mario's-like the Smecca's need free money - and Bennos. If those businesses need money 3 years after Ike, they already shuttered and closed-we lost many businesses-those that survived didn't need the "Loan" IMO and likely in your opinion also.

Coe could have applied for a "Loan" for the FWE Website had the website be "officially" located in Galveston and was able to meet the criteria-sorry, the application period ended Monday).

The businesses that will receive the money mainly are doing fine financially-they just saw a freebie and took it-apparently without thought of the recourse from taxpayers (i.e. Boycott). It is just another "entitlement" bullchip program brought about by our idiots in Gummint. I hope every one of them is voted out of office-I plan to vote against every incumbent running for office except a very small few (such as John Culberson) and that way sending a message to the Animal Farm Pigs that we are sick and tired of the way they spend like drunken sailors at a House of Ill-Repute and giving away our tax dollars without thought or care, plus they pass laws that do not apply to them. If you were a Fiduciary over a trust or someone else's monies and did what the Animal Farm Pigs did and do every day, you would be arrested for violating the fiduciary responsibility and likely be imprisoned for fraud and tax evasion.

Boycott the Galveston businesses that received these monies and let them know they should have said "No Thanks, I'm a business, not a scum-sucking welfare slug grabbing your hard-earned tax dollars."
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.

But where will you go? All the half-decent places are way more socialist than we are.

All aside, I liked eating at Yamato's. I suppose their new competitor up the street will probably kill them anyways.

That's BS that Sunflower Bakery took money. They are packed dang near every time I drive down 14th, freakin' tourists pulling out in front of me all the time or stopping in the middle of the road.

They're SBA loans. Right after the storm a breathless guy came running up under the house asking me if I wanted to apply for a SBA loan at 2% interest. I said hell yeah I'll need $250,000........then he figured out I made too much and the interest would be 7%.
      NO DEAL!
A lady in my yoga class owns a washateria that was destroyed. She got a check for $30,000. She actually really needs the money!

Sorry JT-loan application deadline has PASSED!!! Ya shoulda when ya coulda!!! But then again-West End Marina, LLC came AFTER Ike-so you weren't eligible anyway!! Maybe JT O&G, LLC was though, but deadline passed Monday, so ya just have to buy me a beer-BTW, I'll be down all weekend-drowning my sorrows about Herr Obama in YOUR beer.

Kenny: These weren't SBA loans-this was FREE MONEY!! (In other words, your tax dollars).
