So yesterday, I was meeting a friend at Clear Lake Park to help her train for Lacrosse. I got there about half an hour before she did and decided to go to the pier near the bridge to see if anyone was catching anything. Along the way there, I saw some people throwing cast nets in the water and bringing up a lot of shads. I walked past them and continued on towards the pier. After talking to some of the people on the pier, I headed back and along the way, passed the guys throwing the cast nets. At their feet were piles and piles of shad! They weren't releasing the shad back into the water. They were picking out the shrimp and just leaving the shad on the deck. I was a bit upset at this. I feel that if you aren't going to use the shad as bait, then throw it back. It seemed like such a waste. I talked to them about it and I didn't think they understood what I was talking about. Anyhow, I reluctantly left them and practiced with my friend. This morning, I went back to the park and there were thousands upon thousands of shad on the ground. What do y'all think? Do you throw the shad back or leave them on the ground?

Like Tiny said it is called "Wanton Waste of Wildlife Resources"-same as throwing your trout in the trash or leaving your deer to rot. Call the GW. In Louisiana at the Rockefeller State Wildlife Refuge, LDWF GW issue citations for littering and failure to return by-catch immediately to the water-those menhaden stink and create unsanitary conditions-because of the dumping of menhaden, LDWF closed what is known as "Mud Hole" in Cameron parish to the public completely until "further notice".
You ran across some real idiots-maybe they were Obama and Congress?"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. BEAUTIFY AMERICA, RUN OVER A LIBERAL, THEN BACK UP AND SEE IF HE'S DEAD.
