Yeah, like reeltime said, I'm a real arse . . . especially to kayakers. They come by, usually in their kayaker gangs, throwing big wakes and making a general ruckus. 
The SLP county park used to be a KOA campground. That's why people still call it the KOA
Bright Light is close, and therefore the best place to get live bait no matter the price. You get it in Surfside and drive all the way to the Pass without an o2 system and your scrimps will be half dead.
For dead bait, I like Smilin' Jimmy's. They're the last one on the right before the bridge, where the old Pier 30 used to be, before they moved and made a bar out of a bait shop.
As far as Titlum-Tatlum goes, the channel the boats need is on the right as you come in (There is a new channel to the left that is a little tricky and most people do not know about), then it switches to the left at the small PVC pole close to even with the first camp on the bayou. As you round the hair pin turn after the last camp on the left, the channel switches to the middle. Not everyone is courteous out there, even if they think they are, so keep an eye on folks. Keep your PFD on and good luck!
