I've seen those videos before. When redfish are in a feeding mode they will eat anything in their path. Case in point this video I shot last fall.

This was the biggest red I caught all day that day...

I remember we were fishing with live bait in the canals and right when we ran out of shrimp, a pod of reds came in and busted up the shad in the lights. Upset that we didn't have bait, we were about to run to the bait shop to get some. We did have some assorted junk food though and, on a whim, we chunked that. We caught redfish on cheetoes, gummy bears and ham/ cheese sandwhiches. But that chicken one is pretty darned cool.
