  • Afternoon/Early Evening Fishing in the Summertime

Do many of y'all fish the late afternoon or early evening this time of year. I prefer to fish first light in the morning but my work schedule has me a little balled up and if I don't try to make a PM run sometime this week, I won't get back in the water until the middle of the month. I am thinking about hitting West Bay or Christmas late afternoon and toward evening on Thursday - I've made the 'after work' run during the cooler months but don't know what to expect during mid-summer.

Any good ideas? Sure appreciate the input.

I've got the same problem with work. I'm hitting the surf this evening. If it looks like good fishing and I have the time, I'll go fishing whether its morning or evening. I've caught some good ones at dusk. Thursday evening looks like it wil be a good one!

Fish will eat in the evening too......if you have moving tideas and bait you will find some fish......Throw tops, tops or just tops!
