  • 7/2 Surf Still Too Rough

It's green enough, but unless your young or highly motivated it's to rough to wade.

Do you think it will get right before the end of the weekend?

It's possible, but tomorrows forecasted winds aren't from a very favorable direction.

      2 mph SSW
      (200°)

      6 mph South
      (190°)

        that wont hurt the surf.
the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

here's another link to yet another wind forecast. If it's acurate that 18 mph wind this afternoon ain't gonna help!

Sunday Morning - Surf or the Pass?

Bringing my 15 year old and Grandpa down in the morning to fish.

My son and I had a great day in the surf few weeks back, just not sure if it will be too rough tomorrow morning?

Grandpa ain't no spring chicken either... Pass or Sportsman's might be best?

              Any thoughts appreciated.

                  Thanks Michelle

I guess we'll head down and see what it looks like first light and decide from there.

Joe Kent's report says SLP is good on either side. Probably give that a shot.

                      Thanks.

If you're down there in the morning, we'll be in black burb w/ the DU plates; hopefully, with a stringer of fish behind each of us.

                      Good luck to all.

Lookin' at the cam and it isn't too bad. I can see an occasional breaker on the 3rd bar, so a bit sporty for sure.

Hopefully there are some trout out there, now where to launch?
