leaving work early friday to fish the seawall and 61st in the surf till the sun comes down
i'm undecisive as to what to tie on my leader i have a pink corky, a dayglow, black & gold
and also a mirrolure mirodine xl in green back white belly silver sides, a catch 2000 in the same colors and last a spotted trout series in the same colors thanks for the help

Shad rig with dead shrimp under a cork is what I use. But I'm from Louisiana and everyone makes fun of me for it.

Since it is the afternoon, I would go with one of the sinkers.

Mirrodine and catch 2k are suspending lures, and your gonna have to have some serious patience to let them sink more than a foot or so.

Soft plastic on a 1/4 oz...might still be a lil rough, but you never know???? Lately, dark colors have been pretty good...in dirty or clean water. If I was you...I would head to the Pass and catch the guts that are holding cleaner water, but thats just me.... I'm queer for the Pass right now!

why do you want to fish the surf when it still has ground swell when you can fish the bay side and tear their asses up on all of those you just mentioned???
