went out with dad this evening, didnt take the camera but we both caught limits of reds on rattletraps in the bayou in an hour and a half launching off hwy 3 so go get em if you got a chance

we fished right at the dock mostly bait was everywhere , it was cool cause we just went down there to get out for a bit didnt expect it at allI dont always drink beer, but when i do , I prefer to be fishing !!!!!Comment

Yep when ever we get in a drought like we are now the salt content raises in the bayou and you start catching them. If we keep going the flounder will show up next and then the trout. There was a September back in the 90's where you could setup lights on the pier at the dock and limit on trout at night.
I'd forgotten about that, so thanks for the report and the reminder!!!!!
